Does the laser hurt?
Absolutely not. When people hear the word "laser" they think cutting or burning. This is not that type of laser. The treatment itself is very relaxing. You will not have to do a thing during your treatment except relax. As a matter of fact many of our clients are so relaxed fall asleep during the treatment.
Are there any side effects?
There are no side effects to this laser treatment. We are stimulating a chemical that your body produces naturally every time you smoke. This treatment has been done safely around the World for almost 30 years.
What is your success rate?
We currently have an 84% success rate with just a one time treatment. Many companies will figure their own success rates internally. We do not do that. We have an outside company (Senior Approved Services) take a random sampling of our clients every six months. They ask them one simple question. "Are you still a non-smoker since the time of your treatment?" The client answers yes or no and that is how we get our success rate.
Do I need multiple treatments?
There is no need for multiple treatments when doing the stop smoking or weight loss laser treatments. With one treatment, we can get a client completely past the physical urge to smoke and with our weight loss we can stimulate appetite suppression for a full 28 days with one treatment. You will receive our one year guarantee. (Don't buy into other laser center claims that you need multiple treatments to quit smoking.)
Will you try to sell me vitamins or supplements?
No. There is no need to take any extra vitamins or supplements after your treatment. We will never try to sell you anything. Just drink plenty of water and you wil be fine.
Has this treatment been FDA cleared?
Our treatments have been FDA cleared as a non-risk procedure.
What will I feel during the treatment?
You may feel a little tingling or warmth in the areas that we put the laser. Some areas you may not feel much of anything, depending on your skin sensitivity. Nothing painful. Physically you should just feel relaxed. Some people equate it to just having a massage or just having a couple cigarettes in a row. You will not feel drugged in any way.
Where do you put the laser?
We put the laser at points around your ears, nose, hands and wrists. They are clusters of nerve endings that we are stimulating. You have them all over your body. The ears, nose, hands and wrists are the easiest places for us to get to without clients having to take off shoes or clothes.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever clothes you would normally wear. We have clients coming from home or work and it makes no difference. The only thing we will need you to do is roll up your sleeves for access to your wrists.
Will I need someone to drive me?
There is no need to have someone drive you to an appointment. You will be absolutely fine to drive yourself home or back to work.
With your weight loss, how much weight can I expect to lose?
While every person is different, most women can expect to lose between 7-9lbs and men average between 9-11lbs per the 28 day period. The laser will suppress your appetite, but you will need to change some of your habits as well. Clients that add exercise to their daily routine can significantly take off more weight after the treatment.
Does insurance cover this treatment?
Insurance does not currently cover this treatment. Many companies will reimburse their employees for using our treatments. You will have to speak with your HR person to see if your company does. We do accept Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts.
How long is an office visit?
An office visit generally lasts between 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes depending on the treatment you choose. You will fill out a form when you come in and then we discuss what to expect and give you some helpful tips to make quitting even easier. We will then answer any questions you may have and then proceed to have the laser treatment done. We are by appointment only and we allow plenty of time to every client to make sure all of your needs and questions are answered.
