Hey there, Charles Westover with Advanced Laser Solutions. Today, I want to talk to you about practicing quitting smoking.
Pick a moment
The quickest and easiest way to do this is to pick one moment in the day when you decide you're not going to smoke. For example, let's say you decide, "Whenever I go to the store, whenever I leave my house and go to the store, I'm not going to take my cigarettes with me. I'm going to go smoke-free."
Go smoke-free
What that would entail is smoking your last cigarette before you go to the store. A really helpful thing to do would be to brush your teeth, get yourself cleaned up so you don't smell like cigarettes, and then head off to the store.
Get cleaned up
This will alleviate a lot of pressure to quit smoking for good because you know that when you come back home, those cigarettes will be there. It's just a quick trip to the store—maybe a couple of hours—and you can smoke then if you choose. But the more you do this, the more comfortable you'll feel as a non-smoker, spending longer periods of time without cigarettes.

You'll start to realize that you actually enjoy those moments a lot more than others. I hope you enjoyed this quick Smoker's Minute, and I'll see you next time.
