I want you to really keep this in mind the minute after you smoke your last cigarette.Keeping clean—and I'm not saying that you're not clean—but cleanliness is a reminder of who you're becoming and who you want to be. One of the main fears and one of the main things that people hate about being smokers is the fact that they hate the way they smell. So, as soon as you smoke your last cigarette, start making plans. When you get stressed out, or when you're in an uncomfortable situation, or during times and moments when you tend to think about smoking more than others, one of the easiest things to do to relieve that stress is to take a minute, go to the bathroom, wash your hands, or brush your teeth.Feeling the water on your skin helps you to feel relaxed. It smells clean, and it will help you feel recharged and renewed. It also reminds you of what you're trying to accomplish. So, cleanliness is a huge key factor after you quit smoking.
